We thank and praise and thank the Lord, who has brought us together, has formed us as one family of faith, as we celebrate the Feast of Saint Sharbel.

We have in front of me this wonderful and incredible miracle-working saint, Saint Sharbel Makhlouf from Lebanon. A Maronite monk and priest, who during his life obtained a huge reputation for holiness and for miracles, and also his ability to unite Christians, Muslims, and Druze in Lebanon.
